In phenol, pulling the electrons from the oxygen atom into the ring causes the hydrogen atom to be more partially positive than it is in aliphatic alcohols. This means it is much more easily lost from phenol than it is from aliphatic alcohols, so phenol has a stronger acidic property than ethanol

kiran25219: can i give a Short ans
kiran25219: and tq
mukherjeejune729: this is the shortest one
kiran25219: ya
kiran25219: phonol is more acidic then alcohol because phenol is more stable then alcoxide ion due to delocalsatin of negative charge in pheoxide ion

Among alcohol and phenol,

phenol is more acedic.

Due to the resonance effect.
