Among NaCl, BeCl2, AlCl3 which one is more covalent? Justify your answer.

Now according to Fajan's rule the compound having the smallest cation and the largest anion will be most covalent. As we know that more the number of electrons lost , greater will be the electrostatic force of attraction between the valence shells and the nucleus therefore decreasing its size. Hence, the answer here will be :

AlCl3> BeCl2> NaCl....
