and that of first person be z
given first person is thrice the age of third person
so z=3x
it is also given that first person twice that of second person   
so z=2y
 implies 3x=2y
 and y=3x/2
average is 55 so
(x+(3x/2)+3x)/3=55
on solving we get x=15
so age of the smallest person is 15 yrs
