let the smaller angle=A,
then larger angle =A+44°,

since angles are supplementry, then

smaller angle + larger angle=180°,

A+A+44°=180°,

2A=180°-44°,

2A=136°,

A=68°,

therefore
smaller angle=68°,

larger angle=68°+44°=112°

Let the smaller angle be x

So, the larger angle will be x + 44

[ Supplementary Angle = 180° ]

 ⇒\bold{ x + ( x +44 ) = 180°}

 ⇒\bold{ 2x + 44 = 180°}

 ⇒\bold{2x = 180 - 44}

 ⇒\bold{2x = 136}

 ⇒\bold{x =\frac{136}{2} }

\large{\bold{\fbox{x = 68}}} ✔️✅

Therefore, the smaller angle is 68°

Larger angle = 68 + 44 = 112°
