Spawn: His powers are so vast that you have to do your research to look all of them up. His costume is basically a demonic symbiote in which he controls, that has all the powers of Hell, and eventually Heaven at a point in the comics. I love to argue with my friend that he can beat up Superman any day. Spawn’s origin is awesome for lack of better words, and his comic arcs are very intricate. Spawn serves no one but himself despite his original contract with the Devil, and can be exceptionally selfish at times, so he's not the typical anti-hero, which makes him a thoroughly enjoyable read.
I grew up loving Batman as a kid, but I was readily able to identify with the first Robin because he was a kid too.
