i ) fourth root of 81 = ( 81 ) 1/4 = ( 3^4 ) 1/4 = 3 ^ (4 × 1/4 ) = 3
ii) ∛216 = ( 216 ) 1/3 = ( 2³ × 3³ )^ 1/3 = [ ( 2 × 3 )³ ]^ 1/3 = (2 × 3 ) = 6
