"Amuktamalyada is a renowned Telegu poem whose poet is Krishnadevaraya, who belonged to the dynasty of Vijayanagar.

The poem is so famous because it depicts the wedding of Vishnu, the famous Hindu Lord with Andal, who was the Alvar poet of Tamil in religion and whose father was Periyalvar of the Srirangam dynasty.

The translated version of Amuktamalyada is known as the “garland of pearls”.
