Answer:
- Port 80: HTTP (Hyper text transfer protocol) is known for accessing the world wide web. It is the most essential for data transfer on the world wide web. It is defaultly assigned that the HTTP uses the port 80. The TCP's ( Transmission control protocol ) uses these port numbers. All these ports are assigned with an ip adress. They are used in url's.
- Port 443: HTTPS (Hyper text transfer protocol secure) is an extension of the HTTP and isw more secure than the HTTP. It has more protection in the data transfer. Website adresses and port numbers however cannot be kept away from disclosure as they are a necessary part.
Both of these port numbers are generally associated with the internet and hence they need to be added to exceptions to acess websites.
How to add these port numbers to exceptions:
- Step 1: Go to the all control panel items.
- Step 2: Go to windows firewall and go to allow an app or feature through the windows firewall.
- Step 3: allow the netlogon services for private and then go to the advanced settings.
- Step 4: Then go to the inbound rules and click on new rule and then click on port.
- Step 5: Now select the tcp and enter the port number. then allow in the public and privately. Now name the port and you have succesfully added an exception
