So 1L 250ML of water goes with the food,
and he need to take 3L 500ML Of water per day
subtracting 1L 250ML from 3L 500ML u get 2L 250ML of water which he need to consume per day other than the amount consumed while eating,
One day 2L 250ML so one week will be 7*(2L 250ML), for simpler calculation multiply ( 7* 2L ) and (7*250ML) separately and add them ,
by doing so u get 14L and 1750ML, 1750ML is equal to 1L 750ML, so by adding 14L and 1L 750ML u get 15L 750ML which is the total amount of water he need to consume per week,
