An advertisement board is in the form of an isosceles triangle with perimeter 36m
and each of the equal sides are 13 m. Find the cost of painting it at 17.50 per
square metre.​

so, 36=13+13+x

36=26+x

36-26=x

x=10

so other side=10m

to find the cost we must find area

area (heron's)=root s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

s=13+13+10/2

s=18

so area = root 18(18-13)(18-13)(18-10)

area=4500m

so cost of painting =4500x17.50

cost=Rs.78750
