An aeroplane after landing to the runway with a speed of 36 km/h travels in a straight line for 5 s and comes to rest with an acceleration of -2 m/s square.Calculate the distance travelled by the aeroplane through the runway.​

As we know

2nd equation of motion

S = Vit + 1/2 (at^2)

S = 10×5 + 1/2 (2×5^2)

S = 50 + 1/2 ( 50)

S = 50 + 25

S= 75 meters
