Given:

Distance covered by aeroplane = 50km

Time taken = 1/5 hrs

To Find:

Distance covered by aeroplane in 5 hrs

Solution:

Time = 1/5

= 0.2 Hrs

Thus, distance covered by aeroplane in one hour

Speed = Distance / Time

Substituting the values -  

= 50/0.2

= 50 × 0.2

= 250

Now, distance covered by plane is 5 hrs will be -

Distance = Speed × Time

Substituting the values -  

= 250 × 5

= 1250

Answer: Distance covered by aeroplane in 5 hrs is 1250 km.
