Given in the question :-

=> Aeroplane moves 400 m due North

=> Then 300 m South

=> Then 1200 m upwards

So the net displacement will be solved by vector . It will be square root that is magnitude of displacement .

Final Answer :-» √1690000

♦ Net Displacement => 1300 m

horizontal displacement= 400-300=100 m
vertical displacement= 1200 m
so total displacement = h= √b²+a²= √10000+1440000=1204.15 m
is it right ?
