Answer: displacement =324 km

velocity=1963.64 km/hr = 545.455 m/s

Explanation:

We have, distance=324 km and t=20 minutes..

here, since the aeroplane follows a straight path, the displacement will be equal to the distance

i.e., displacement=324 km

Now, we know, S= 1/2 (u+v)t

considering that the aeroplane was initially at rest,

324=1/2*20/60v

324= 0.165v

v= 1963.64 km/hr

v= 545.455 m/s (divide velocity in km/hr by 3.6)
