first class fares can take 60 kg of baggage each

The plane can carry only 120 kg of baggage altogether

To Find :  the number of passengers of each kind

use cramer's rule

Solution:

first class fares Passenger = x

tourist class passengers = y

x + y  = 4

60x + 20y  = 120

=> 3x  + y  +  6

x + y  = 4

3x  + y  +  6

\left|\begin{array}{ccc}1&1 \\3&1\end{array}\right| = 1 \times 1 - 3  \times 1 = - 2

x = \frac{\left|\begin{array}{ccc}4&1 \\6&1\end{array}\right|}{\left|\begin{array}{ccc}1&1 \\3&1\end{array}\right|}

=> x =  (4 - 6)/-2

=> x = 1

y = \frac{\left|\begin{array}{ccc}1&4 \\3&6\end{array}\right|}{\left|\begin{array}{ccc}1&1 \\3&1\end{array}\right|}

=> y = (6 - 12)/-2

=>y = 3

number of passengers in first class = 1

number of passengers in tourist class = 3
