An airplane is being pushed West by its engines with a force of 350 N as it starts to take off the runway at the Atlanta airport. As it moves, 100 N of friction force from the runway and 100 N of air resistance are pushing the airplane toward the East. What are the net forces acting on the plane and which direction will it move?
Group of answer choices

The airplane will move to the East with a net force of 250 N.

The airplane will move to the West with a net force of 250 N

The airplane will continue to move toward the West with a net force of 150 N.

The airplane is experiencing balanced forces so it will stop moving.

Answer:

The airplane will continue to move toward the West with a net force of 150 N.

Explanation:

total force exeted by aeroplane=350 N

opposite in direction forces

frictional force=100N

air resistance=100n

total force in opposite direction is 200N

so force in the west by the engine> the force exeted oppositely

=350N>200N

it is greater by 150N so it will continue to move towards west with a force of 150 N

Answer:

The reactivity series is a series of metals, in order of reactivity from highest to lowest. It is used to determine the products of single displacement reactions, whereby metal A will replace another metal B in a solution if A is higher in the series.
