An aldehyde as well as a ketone can be represented by the same molecular formula, say c 3 h 6 o. write their structures and name them. state the relation between the two in the language of science.

CH3-CH2-CHO(1-propanal)
CH3-CO-CH3(2-propanone)
Same molecular formula, but differ only in functional group attached.. So that is called FUNCTIONAL ISOMERISMS....... and they are functional isomers
