Answer:

% composition

Copper = 52 %

Zinc = 28%

Nickel = 20%

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of parts alloy consists = 25 ( 100 %)

Of which 13 parts are copper

% = ( 13/25) *100

Copper = 52%

7 parts are zinc

% = ( 7/ 25) *100

Zinc = 28%

5 parts are Nickel

% = (5/25) *100

Nickel = 20 %

Total Parts of Alloy = 13+7+5 => 25

% of Copper = \sf{\dfrac{13}{25}\times 100 = 13\times4=52\%}\\

% of Zinc = \sf{\dfrac{7}{25}\times100=7\times4=28\%}\\

% of Nickel = \sf{\dfrac{5}{25}\times100=5\times4=20\%}\\

Therefore, the total percent adds up to 100%.

So,

% of Copper = 52%

% of Zinc = 28%

% of Nickel = 20%

Hope it helps u
