mass of copper=28.4kg

copper=20%
nickel=50%
so,
total alloy=100%
let, rest copper=x
total alloy=copper+nickel+rest of copper
100%=20%+50%+x
x=100%-70%
x=30%

total copper=20%copper+rest of copper
total copper=20%+30%
                   =50%
i.e
50% of alloy is copper
=50/100*28.4 kg
=1/2*28.4 kg
=14.2kg answer
