Find percentage of Nickel:

100% - 30% - 40% = 30%

.

Find amount of Nickel:

30% x 30kg = 0.3 x 30 = 9 kg

.

Answer: There are 9 kg of Nickel in the Alloy.

Amount of alloy =30 kg
% of copper =30%
% of zinc = 40 %
So, % of nickel = 100-(30+40)=30%
So, amount of nickel = 30 % of 30 kg.
30\100*30=9 kg (ans)
