Given - Percentage of zinc

Find - Weight of zinc and copper

Solution - The weight of zinc and copper in alloy is 10 kilograms and 30 kilograms respectively.

Percentage of zinc = 25%

Percentage of copper = 100 - 25%

Percentage of copper = 75%

Weight of zinc = 25%*40

Weight of zinc = 25*40/100

Weight of zinc = 10 kilograms

Weight of copper = 75%*40

Weight of copper = 75*40/100

Weight of copper = 30 kilograms

The weight of zinc and copper in alloy is 10 kilograms and 30 kilograms respectively.
