Percentage of Copper = 32%
Percentage of Zinc = 40%
So, Percentage of Nickel = 100-72
                                         = 28%

So, In 1000g of alloy

      Copper = 1000*32/100 = 320g
      Zinc      = 1000*40/100 =  400 g
   and, Nickel = 1000*28/100 = 280 g

Total quantity of alloy=1kg=1000g.
Quantity of copper in it=32% of 1000g
=1000×32/100g
=320g.
Quantity of zinc in it=40% of 1000g.
=1000×40/100g
=400g.
the quantity of nickel in it=1000-(320+400)g.
=1000-720g.
=280g.
