Let zinc be 11x and copper be 2x

Given zinc = 28.6 grams
=> 11x = 28.6 g ( since zinc is 11x )

So
x =  \frac{28.6}{11}  \\ x = 2.6
Now x = 2.6
so copper = 2x = 2 × 2.6 = 5.2 grams

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️✌️✌️

ADPrabhu: first of all, answer will be in grams
Mankuthemonkey01: check the Question again
ADPrabhu: yes
Mankuthemonkey01: maybe u typed Question wrong
ADPrabhu: you are right
Gshdidg: no the question is correct
ADPrabhu: how can the answer come in kg when zinc with higher ratio is in grams
ADPrabhu: apply common sense
ADPrabhu: check it again
ADPrabhu: may be you would have mistaken IN checking the correct number

Ratio of copper and zinc IN an alloy = 2:11
Mass of zinc = 28.6 grams (given)
Mass of copper = x (assumed mass)
Similarly, Zinc will be 11x which is equal to 28.6gram.
So, x = 28.6/11
x = 2.6
2x = 2.6 * 2 = 5.2grams
So, the mass of copper is 5.2 grams when mass of zinc is 28.6 grams IN an alloy of copper zinc ratio of 2:11.

Hope this helps you dear!!!
