An alloy contains of aluminium and iron in the ratio 17:8. of the weight of alloy is 75 kg then find the weight of iron

Answer:

let the weight of aluminium be 17x and iron be 8x

17x+8x=75

25x=75

x=3

weight of iron 8*3=24
