An altitude of a triangle is five-thirds the length of its corresponding base. If the altitude be increased by 4cm and the base decreased by 2cm, the area of the triangle remains the same.

h = 5 b / 3
1/2 * (h +4)*(b - 2) = 1/2* h b

So 4 b - 2 h = 8
2 b - h = 4
2 b - 5b/3= 4

b = 12 cm
h = 20 cm
