yes A is increase v is not decrease.

Answer:

on connecting a resistor in parallel to a well known circuit equivalent resistance including internal resistance of cell or battery and new resistor decreases which increases current in the circuit and reading of ammeter increases.

At the same time potential difference across ammeter increases so for a constant emf source reading of voltmeter should decrease.
