The example of anaerobic organism is the fungi belonging to actinomycetes , clostiridium , bacteroides, etc .

Anaerobic organisms are the one that respire i.e. produce energy in the absence of oxygen . The energy created in such respiration is less (2 ATP) . The organisms are called anaerobes.

Sometimes , our muscle cells also respire anaerobically.

On the other hand, aerobic organisms are the one respiring in the presence of oxygen to create abundant amount of energy (38 ATP) . Such organisms are called aerobes . It mostly includes animal , plant cells , etc .
