Let the one angle be x.

Then the other angle will be 8x.

We know that the sum of complementary angles is 90°.

Therefore,

x + 8x = 90°

9x = 90°

x = 10.

And, 8x = 8 X 10 = 80°.

Hence, the angle which is equal to 8 times of its complement is 80°.

Answer:

The angle is 80 °

Step by Step Explanation:

Say an angle is 8x then the complement angle is x then we know two complementary angles sum up to 90°

So,

8x+x=90°

9x=90°

x=10°

∴The angle is 80 °
