The sum of adjacent angles of a parallelogram is 180.
Also, sum of co interior angles is equal to 180.

Now , by the rules of a parallelogram :
The opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal as well as parallel.
Also, the opposite angles of a parallelogram is equal to each other.
