Just follow below evaluation,

Height of antenna = 500 m,

the radius of earth= 6400km,

DT = underfoot of two hours,

Based on the formula you can calculate range,

d=√2hr= √2x500x6400x1000 = 8000 or 80 km So,

it will be a range to 80 Km if the antenna on the height of 500 m.

The range of the antenna will be 80 km.

Given:

the height of an antenna = 500 m

the radius of the earth = 6400 km

To Find:

the range of the antenna

Solution:

we know that the range of a device is calculated as-

range = √2Rh

where R is the radius and h is the height

also 1000 m = 1 km

⇒ 500 m = 1/2 km or 0.5 km

now, substituting the values into the formula we get-

range = √(2 × 6400 × 0.5)

= √6400

= 80

Thus, the range of the antenna will be 80 km.
