An aquarium is in the shape of cuboid whose external measure are 60cm*40cm*30cm. the base , side faces and back faces are to be covered with a coloured paper. find the area of paper needed.

L = 60
B = 40
H = 30
Now for paper needed
For Side faces :
Area is given By - B*H = 40*30
=1200cm^2
As an aquarium has two side faces we need 2*1200=2400 cm^2 of paper
Now for Paper needed for back face :
Area is given by - H*L = 30*60
=1800cm^2
#Remember there's only one back face#
Now for Paper needed for the base :
Area is given by = L*B = 60*40
=2400 cm^2
Thus total area of paper needed will be
2400+1800+2400= 6600 cm^2
