an aqueous solution of NaOH contains 20g NaOH in 180g water. if density of water is 0.998.g/ml,then calculate the molarity of the solution.​

Given mass = 180 g

Molar Mass = NaOH

= 23 + 16 + 1

= 40

Density if water = 0.998 g/ml

= 50 x 0.998

= 39.92

Therefore, the molarity of of the solution of NaOH = 39.92
