time taken to reach the ground is 14.66 sec

it is based on oblique projectile. An archer shoots an arrow at 83 m/s at an angle 62°.

we have to find the time taken by arrow to reach the ground.

using formula, Time of flight, T = 2usinθ/g

where u is initial speed of arrow, θ is angle of projection and g is acceleration due to gravity.

u = 83 m/s, θ = 62° and g = 10m/s²

so, T = 2 × 83 sin62°/10

= 16.6 sin62°

= 16.6 × 0.8829

= 14.65614

≈ 14.66 s
