Answer:

number of peoples in army camp is 200.food which is fixed for them is 60days

200 peoples reduced into 160

decrease in people=200-160

=40 persons

let us find in percentage

40/200*100=20% decrease

population decrease leads to increase in food for less peoples.

so,20% of 60 days=20/100*60=12

peoples.

let's add them in such a way that

60+12=72

hence food will last for 72 days if number of peoples reduced to 160.

Answer:

75 Days.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's check it with the proportion method:
Men : Days (for food to last)
200 : 60
160 :
200 =
160  = 60
So,
200 x 60 = 160 x
12000      = 160
12000      =
 160
75             =
So, if the men are reduced to 160, the food will last for 75 days.
