➡When the arrow is released, the potential energy stored in the bow gets transformed into the kinetic energy of the/ arrow.

Strain Potential Energy gets converted to Kinetic Energy.
- When the arrow is stretched on the elastic part of the bow, there is deformation of the stretchable part.
- This leads to development of strain potential energy (it is analogous to spring potential energy of a spring).
- Now, when the hands on the arrow is released, the whole potential energy of the bow is converted to Kinetic energy of the arrow.
- Thus the arrow gains velocity and flies off.
Hope It Helps.
