an article cost rupees 2700 to a manufacturer who list it price at rupees 3200 he sells it to a trader at a discount of 5% that trader gets a further discount of 5% for cash payment calculate the amount that the database to the manufacture and calculate the profit percent the manufacturer makes on the sale. CP = 2700

mp= 3200

after 1st discount amount is 95/100*3200=3040

after cash discount

95/100*3040=2888(ans)

profit = 2888-2700=188

profit% = 188/2700*100=6.96%(ans)

188/2700*100=18800/2700

=188/27=6 26/27 or 6.96%
