Weaving is a method of production of textile in which two different sets of yarns or threads are interwined at right angles to form a fabric or cloth.

India is the only country which still creates textiles which are the genius works of the master weavers of Imdia. Now the world has lost the hand-weaving and loom processes along with all natural and organic methods of creating textiles. Mill-made fabrics and synthetics largely dominate fashion markets, as is seen in China.

India’s handloom industry is not the basket case it is made out to be. Its market for both saris and woven fabrics is large in the Indian subcontinent.
