15%of 600=(15/100)of 600=90
Discount=90Rupees
600-90=510Rs.(After discount of 15% on 600)
Again on the recieved price,a discount of 40% is given:
So,40%of 510=(40/100)of 510=204
Discount of 40% on 510Rs.=204
So new price:510-204=306Rs.
Therefore,after discount of 15%+40%on 600,
Selling price = Rs.306
