Animals and other terrestrial species also  require oxygen  Without oxygen, life cannot exist on earth.

Trees generate emit in  oxygen  in the air.

Trees absorb  this carbon dioxide and thereby makes our environment safe.

Trees benefits us in several ways by presenting us fruit and flowers, fuel, construction work and many more.

In summer, they provide us shades and keeps us cool from  scorching rays of the sun and give us cool shade under them.

Trees in our forests draw the rain from the clouds floating in the Trees prevents soil erosion, provides fertilisation of soil.

Forest Trees prevents flood and helps human life.

Trees conserve our soil. This soil-conservation is very important for cultivation..

Most of the forest-products are the products from the trees in the forests, absentee of trees will cause a lot of harm to us and to our life.

So the number of trees should be multiplied by the tree-plantation by us.

Tree plantation should be practiced by all including students, worker, men and women irrespective of age and qualification.

Tree plantation is a noble activity.

Selection of trees: We should make proper  selection of trees to be planted, considering fast growth, soil nature and climate.in consideration of the nature of land and the kind of climate.

           Plantation for social welfare:

The type of farming in which a single crop is cultivated in large area is called as plantations. There are many areas of India where plantation type of agriculture is performed like the states of Assam is famous for its tea plantations, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka is famous for its coffee and rubber plantations. These plantations also employs large number of manual labourers who generally live in poor conditions.

But if proper efforts are made so that the plantations itself becomes a platform for social welfare then there would be large number of people who would be benefitted from this. If certain things like the wages of the labourers are fixed and they are given proper labour amenities with limited hours of work and week holidays along with proper medical facilities for them and their families, then it could be transformed into a welfare society. If we can form self help groups that can help to solve the issues and complains of labourers and they would also ensure their protection from exploitation then it will truly be a welfare society for labourers.
