A satellite is moving in circular orbit of radius 42250 km. Calculate its speed if it takes 24 hour to revolve around the earth.

\underline\bold\blue{Given} =  >

Radius of the orbit =>42000 km

Time taken to complete one revolution around the earth=>24 hours

\underline\bold\blue{To \:  find} =  >

Speed if it takes 24 hours to revolve round the earth

\underline\bold\blue{Answer} =  >

Radius of the circular orbit of along which the satellite is moving=>42250 km

Time taken by the satellite to complete one revolution around the earth=>24 hours

 \bold{We \: know \: speed \: } =  \frac{Total \: distance}{Time \: taken}

Distance travelled by the satellite in one revolution around Earth=2×π×r

Note:-

r=radius

π=22/7

Total distance travelled

=2×π×42250

=2×22/7×42250

=265571.43

Total time taken=24h

 \bold{Therefore  \: speed} =  \:  \frac{265571.43}{24}

=11065.47km/hr

The speed of the satellite=11065.47km/hr
