An artificial satellite is moving in a circular orbit of radius 42250km.Calculate its speed if it takes 24 houres to revolve around the earth.

w=angular displacment /time
time=24*3600 sec
angular displacment =2*pie
r=42250*1000m.....

u can calculate this way.

Hey there!

Given,

Radius (r) = 42250 km

Time (t) = 24 hours

Distance will equal to perimeter of the orbit

= 2πr

= 2π * 42250

Speed of artificial satelite  

= 2π * 42250/24

= 11059 km/h
