an athelete completes 1 round of a circular track of diameter 4oo m in 80 sec what will be the distance covered and the displacement at end of 4 min 40 sec​

Answer:

The total distance covered for one complete round = parameter of a circular track with a diameter 400 m = πd, ((22/7) * 400)

Time taken to complete one round = 80 sec

4 min 40 sec = 280 sec i.e (240 + 40) = 3 complete rounds and 40 seconds

= 3 complete rounds + 0.5 round = 3.5 rounds

Total distance covered = ((22/7)*400)*(7/2) = 4,400 m

displacement = shortest distance from origin = exact diameter distance.

so it will be 400
