an athelete completes one round of a circular track of diameter 200m in 4 seconds what will be the distance covered and the displacement at the end of 2min 20 seconds? please answer with full process​

time = 2 min 20 sec = 60*2 + 20 = 120+20= 140 secs

number of laps = 140/4 = 35 laps

Circumference of track = 2*pi *radius  [diameter=2*radius]

=pi*diameter= 200*pi meters

therefore,

total distance coverd= num of laps * circumference

= 35* 200 * pi

put, pi=22/7

= 35*200*22/7

=5*200*22

=110*200

=22000 meters

total distance covered=22 Km

total displacement = the change in the position of the body

= shortest path between two points

here, the points are the start point and the end point

the start point is the end point

therefore,

total displcement = final point-initial point

=0

Hence;

total distance = 22 km = 22000 m

total displacement= 0m
