Given time = 30s
Time taken to complete one round = 20s
So,total rounds completed in 30s = 30/20 = 3/2 = 1.5

Given:diameter = 49
therefore radius = 49/2  and pi = 3.14
Now distance travelled in one round = 2*pi*r = 2*3.14*49/2
= 3.14*49 = 153.86

thus,total distance travelled in 30s = 1.5*153.86 = 230.79m

To find the displacement,
the shortest distance between initial and final position in diameter = 49m

thus, displacement of an athlete completes one round of a circular track = 49m

Answer:

Given time = 30s

Time taken to complete one round = 20s

So, total rounds completed in 30s = 30/20 = 3/2 = 1.5

Given : diameter = 49m

therefore radius = 49/2  and pi = 3.14

Now distance travelled in one round = 2 x pi x r = 2x3.14x49/2

= 3.14 x 49 = 153.86

thus, total distance travelled in 30s = 1.5*153.86 = 230.79m

To find the displacement,

the shortest distance between initial and final position in diameter = 49m
