an athlete completes one round of a circular track of diametre 200 m in 40 s. What will be the distance covered and a displacement at the end of 2 minutes 20 second?

Diameter=200m

Radius=100m

Total distance=?

Then,

Total distance=πd

=22/7×200m

=4400/7m

Time=4sec.

Speed=D/T

=4400/7×40 m/s

=110/7 m/s

Time=2minute20second

=120+20 sec.

=140 sec.

Distance=speed×time

=110/7×140 m

=2200 m

Displacement=Distance=200m.
