length AB=200m=2R

time taken to complete one round=40 sec

let the starting point be A

in 140 sec or 2 min 20 sec number of rounds completed=

distance traveled=3.5 * (2**R)=3.5*2**100 m=2200 m (approx)

displacement refers to change in position from the starting point.the final point is B

as after 3.5 revolutions(starting from A) the athlete will be at B.

displacement=200m

please change the value.....

u will get the answer same

Here d=20m
therefore circumference of round=2πr
=πd
i.e 22/7×20=52.85
now total distance covered=52.85m
total time taken=40s
distance covered in 1 sec=52.85/40=1.32125
therefore distance covered in 2min 20sec or 140sec=1.32125×140
=184.975m
total distance is 184.975(Distance)
if 1 round =52.85m
then 184.975 would cover the no. of rounds=184.975/52.85=3.5 rounds
now if we cover 3 rounds the initial and final position would be same again 0.5 round that is half of the circle would be covered .
Then the nearest distance between initial and final position would be diameter of the circle i.e 20m
therefore displacement is 20m
