Raman can do a work in 5 days

⇒ 1 day = 1/5 of the work

Jatin can do the same work in 7 days

⇒ 1 day = 1/7 of the work

Sachin can do the same work in 9 days

⇒ 1 day = 1/9 of the work

Find the ratio:

Ratio = Raman : Jatin : Sachin = 1/5 : 1/7 : 1/9

Multiply by 315 through:

Ratio = Raman : Jatin : Sachin = 63 : 45 : 35

Find the constant ratio:

Let x be the constant ratio

Ratio = Raman : Jatin : Sachin = 63x : 45x : 35x

63x + 45x + 35x = Rs 2860

143x = 2860

x = 20

Find Raman's share:

Raman = 63x = 63(20) = Rs 1260

Answer: Raman's share is Rs 1260
