an athlete runs around a circular park 10 times. if the diameter of park is 280m find the distance covered by athlen in kilometres

diameter of park =280m=0.28km
circumference of park=distance covered by athelete in one round

therefore circumference of park =2×22/7×0.28/2
=0.88km

if the athlete runs 10times around the park
therefore distance covered by him is 0.88×10=8.8km.
