Answer:

mass no. of the element X= 35

Atomic no. of the element X=17

a) Atomic no.=total no. of protons present in X=17

no. of protons present in a neutral atom = no. of electrons present in the atom=17

no. of neutrons = mass no. - Atomic no.

=35-17= 18

b) 35 is mass no. of x which is equal to the sum of neutrons and protons present in the element X

and 17 is atomic no. which represents the total no. of protons present in the element X

c)It is neutral

d)2 8 7

e)7

f)1

g) non metal

I'm pretty sure the element X here refers to chlorine.

I hope this helps you and please mark this as brainliest if it helps you.

Answer:

a)proton=election =17 , neutron =35-17=18

b)35=mass number, 17=proton number

c)electronegitive because by gaining 1 electron it's electron number will be 18 like noble gas argon

d)1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3d5

e)7

f)1

g)non metal
