Given :

An auto charges = Rs. 15 for 1 st km.

= Rs. 8 for each subsequent km.

Distance = ' x '

Amount = ' y ' paid.

Extra charge for 1 st km apart from 8-.

According to the question :

=> Rs. 15 - Rs. 8

=> Rs. 7.

☞ y = 8x + 7 ......... ( Linear equation )

Graph :

x = Random values.

y = Find corresponding values.

From the graph,

Distance traveled if the fare paid is

=> Rs. 55 = \sf\large\underline\blue{6\:km}

And money to be paid for 7 km = \sf\large\underline\blue{Rs.63}
